Vision is an annual conference for international students to experience global community and explore faith.
The 2020 conference was moved to an online format due to the Covid-19 pandemic and held, incidentally, in the first few days of 2021. I served as Creative Director for this conference, overseeing the overall design—including print, screen, web, and video resources.
I refreshed the conference logo, thickening the letters in the wordmark and adding some curves to the "O" icon. I suggested the subtitle "Together" to emphasize our longing to be with others, as well as to distinguish this special virtual version of the conference from the norm. I chose colors and imagery to create a warm and hospitable "living room" atmosphere and a more relaxed energy, in order to reflect the current reality everyone was experiencing at the time.
